Courthouse Butte and Bell Rock are a nifty pair of peaks five miles south of Sedona. A popular tourist trail provides easy access to both, but each requires a pitch of technical climbing to get on top of. The duo make for a great short day out.

Courthouse Butte is a scenic scramble with a pitch of old school 5.6 climbing. The crux mantel moves are protected by good bolts.

Bell Rock, though only half a mile away, has a distinctly different character. A pitch of awkward but well protected 5.8 climbing is required to surmount the summit pinnacle.
