Fiddlestix is a relatively short canyon on Ticaboo Mesa that makes for a good half day adventure before the long drive home. Our descent was made more interesting by the fact that the beta we had did not seem to match what we found. Despite navigating to the canyon's head via GPS it was hard to believe we were in the right canyon! There were anchor challenges, a long rappel and plenty of slot action; a fine note to end the trip on.

Descending Ticaboo Mesa toward Lake Powell.

Our anchor for the final 185 foot rappel was a chockstone (not wedged when we found it) backed up by another chockstone up canyon.

Slickrock exit back to the rim.
