Big day. I backpacked from Dutch Oven Lake to a tiny alpine lake north of Lizard Head, caching my pack four different times to bag peaks along the way. I got the impression from looking at the topo map that these were going to be be sort of lame, but I was very wrong. Each had very interesting summits and required scrambling over and around big, rounded granite blocks. Cathedral and Throne were particularly memorable.
