Locomotive Point lies just north of I-70 in the San Rafael Swell. The feature is comprised of an interesting, beautiful, and convoluted mass of sandstone cliffs and the route to the highpoint is not at all obvious. The scramble provided a nice diversion to stretch my legs on the drive home from Zion National Park. The late day light and mix of sun and clouds made for some excellent scenery along the way.
