To kick off a week long Zion adventurefest, 8 of us made a quick, early morning ascent of "Moqui Peak", an easily accessible but more-or-less off the radar Zion mini-classic. Interesting routefinding, unique terrain features, great views, and a short 5th class crux combine to make this a hidden gem. This was my 2nd visit and probably not my last. Unsettled weather brought about a spectacular sunrise.
