Josh dropping in.

This is the first slot canyon where I'm the one "in charge" and I'm a little nervous at first... especially when we find we can't pull the rope from the initial rappel. Josh and Andy work to remedy the situation and after just a few minutes they have it moving. Nice work fellas! I really didn't want to have to prussic up the damn thing right out of the gate!

Josh is apparently REALLY happy the rope is no longer stuck.

Andy pioneers the way down into the unknown. There is an anchor here but we choose to forego using it. The canyon floor is a loooong way down but the elevatoring is comfortable enough.

Soon I'll realize that this is the massive slide system that we enjoyed last time with the security of a handline. Today we're all comfortable without.

Andy downclimbs over a tricky chockstone using our rope for a handline. I was just small enough to wriggle securely behind it.
