A straightforward canyon with multiple big rappels
Dwight, Dominic and Kevin on the approach. The nearby Henry Mountains rise approximately 6,000 feet above us. The contrast between the snowcapped peaks and the dry, colorful desert is beautiful.

Dwight sets off on the second rappel, apparently one of the largest in the Poison Springs area. (at 190 feet). We rapped single strand on a 60 meter rope and used a 50+ meter rope for a pull cord.

We feel like kids at a playground as we deal with the easy but fun obstacles the canyon throws at us.
Dwight and Kevin ponder some of Dominic's enthusiastic tomfoolery.
Kevin bridges over a small puddle. This is a good place to learn or practice basic cayoneering techniques.
Dominic prepares for the final rappel which is anchored from a piton. Getting into the rappel is easily accomplished by first "riding the horsey". Kevin's next in line.
Kevin on the final 90 foot rappel.
Dwight rappels out of the light and into the cool depths of the canyon.
Kevin makes his way through some nicely lit narrows.
