A quick repeat of a little Zion gem, this time via a tougher route
CP stands at the bottom of the southwest face of "Progeny Peak". On my first visit I climbed a 3rd class line on the left side. This time we plan on climbing a more direct and tougher line further right.
Kevin climbing the 5th class crux of the route. CP freeclimbed it and belayed the rest of us up.
Kevin carefully making his way up some very steep 4th class slabs.
"The Triplets as seen from "Progeny Peak". Loose class 4+ scrambling awaits my future attempt.
View south from "Progeny Peak". The three major summits are "Nippletop", "The Triplets" and "Lost Peak".
Pointy Bridge Mountain (left) and The East Temple (right) as seen from "Progeny Peak". This is one of the views that makes "Progeny Peak" such a great little summit.
"Lost Peak" resides right across UT-9 from "Progeny Peak". It is also one of the easier summits to reach in Zion.
