Two of the lamest peaks in Zion National Park
Pine Valley Peak as seen from Spendlove Knoll. The easiest route to the summit is rated about 5.5.
Red Butte as seen from Spendlove Knoll. The easiest route to the summit is rated 5.6.
Firepit Knoll is an easy half hour hike from the Kolob Terrace Road. Although it isn't anything special the views are good.
Spendlove Knoll is the nastiest peak I have climbed in Zion so far. Heavy bushwhacking left me quite scratched up, but at least it was a quick trip and the views were good.
Cave Knoll as seen from the Kolob Terrace Road near sunset.
Tabernacle Dome as seen from the Kolob Terrace Road at sunset. We'd climb it the following morning before starting the long drive home. The route goes up the steep ridge in the center.
